would they fit to a mk4 polo, or would i need to change the mounts, how much would that cost? They're a bargin atm.

you would have to weld new frames on, dunno how much it would cost, best to befriend someone who can weld! surely mk3 golf ones would be a better option for you, they are direct fit and if you are lucky you might find a set of leathers or even better(well depending on the colour of your polo!), colour concept ones!

mk3 golf front seats go straight in and I'm sure that mk3 ones also go straight into a mk2 so you might get away with it!

check somewhere like edition38 or club gti to find out if the mk3 ones go into a mk2 then you'll know fo'sho!

mk3 golf seats will not fit a mk2 golf or mk3 polo. the tracks are wider. i know this because i used to have bucket seats in one of my old mk3 polos, and cobra sent me subframes suitable for a mk3 golf or mk4 polo cos they were nobs! you could buy the mk2 seats and get new subframes made up, but unless you can weld or you know someone who can weld then i wouldnt bother cos it will cost about 50 per subframe if done by a pro
