I've already got 2 amps in the car, One with 4awg and the other with 10awg. Both are 1000w so I need to replace the wiring from my previous amp for the new one 10 to 4 AWG. Whats the best way for me to do this? Should I just install another power and earth cable, or should i use the 4awg cable and get a distribution block and use it to power the other amp?

How do the distribution blocks work? Do they cut power to the amps down? I really am stuck theres to much wiring in the car as it is!!!

I've also still got my standard battery, should I upgrade?

the easiest would be another run of 4 gauge,

if you want to do it properly..... a 0 gauge run form the battery to the boot, then a fused dissy block then runs of 4awg to each amp, then 4awg each one directly into the chasis

all i dissy block does is split the line

battery wise, you "want" the biggest one you can get, but the stock one shouldn't be a problem with 2 1000watt (is this peak or RMS?) amps

Ok, So 0AWG to the boot then a fused or un fused distribution block? Earth each one like normal(separately)

If I remember rightly they are 2400W and 1000W. I cant remember though, but Ill probably pick up a 0 Gauge cable and use a distribution block to split the power, just keeps a neater install.

what amps are they?

for wiring bits get them from knukonceptz - they are very good value :-D

you will need an inline fuse approx. 6" from the battery, probably 100amp fuse...

then a fused dissy block in the boot if you want to be showy you can take the earths from the amps, into an unfused dissy block then ground that with 0 gauge

you might need to buy fuses seperatly with the block

i have just done this but I've done 4awg to a dissy to 2 8awg but I'm haveing trouble witht the battery terminal. I've bought a connecter which i can have 1x0awg 1x4awg and 2x8awg in it but on my battery there is a funny box with a red and black wire in it but I'm nt sure if i can wire the black into the blok as its a positive blok can anyone help ??
