Trip Counter

Featured Replies

Come under the electrical side of the forum?

Can't get mine to reset. Just filled up for the first time & wanted to see how much i get to a tank. I've tried pressing it, pulling it, turning it side to side like you do with the clock, but nothing is working

How do i reset the trip counter?

If that happens on a Mk3......it usually means a trip to the breakers yard :-(

The up side of this is that you can fill your pockets while you "wander" round

This mean there's a bad connection somewhere along the line?

I'm planning on getting it in the garage to be serviced. Is it a simple fix up for them to do? Nothing too expensive for what it is?

this may sound patronising... but you've tried holding the button down for a couple of seconds yeah ??

lol, yes i have. Is that what it should be to reset the trip?

I'm guessing it should still work, as when i bought it, there wasn't many miles on the trip at all.

Is that what it should be to reset the trip?

Yeah, with the trip display count showing (not the mileage) press and hold the button until it goes back to zero.

Mine resets itself randomly because of a bad earth....you could try that :lol:
