smoked rear lights

Featured Replies

ok, i want to smoke/tint/darken my rear lights, but i'm a tart and dont what to get tugged by the fuzz/mot man.

my question is do you reckon it'll be possible to laminate the lights and then spray over the top, that way the laminate can be peeled off for an mot/policeman or if i go nuts with the spray can and not enough light comes through.

will the paint stick to the laminate or should i just buy some more rear lights and take a risk.

opinions and belittling comments welcomed.

just try it and see! so long as you dont go mad you wont get pulled. if you do over do it, you can remove the tint with thinners!

Not worried about Mot tbh

its if some little idiot thinks they can dodge liability by claiming

" these young lads with modified cars, tinted guv , cudnt see I'm guv"

Thoughts???

legal standard of light emisivity?
