mk4 rear disc/ hub tightening torque

Featured Replies

Yo, swapped my drums for a set of gti discs last weekend only when i came to tighten the hub to the carrier i found that both stub axles were right hand threads, so i didnt know how tight they had to be, i've got them at 150Nm at the mo but i just wondered if anyone has the right torque? Cheers, Ollie.

Theres not that much to it to be honest, all i had was the drums on the back to start with obviously, then from a gti polo (or tdi i think. . .) you need the real calipers, caliper carriers, hubs and stub axels, splash guards, pads and discs then the two handbrake cables, not a hard job really, mine took a while cuz a rear flex split, can be done in a day.
