i took off my wing mirrors and sawed them off, fibreglassed the ends of them and smoothed them with filler and a few coats of paint. didnt take long and wasnt to hard!

same here all i did was cut the of and grind plat flat, never got round to filling holesbut still looks good though.

just go to your local friendly VW dealer and ask for one from an early Mk 2 rhd and one for the lhd

the boys in blue cant do anything as long as you have 1 wing mirror! me old boy is in the filthy and he didnt mind me choppin mine off and puttin a peep mirror on!

wts a peep mirror ? and sooo you can just lop them off and fibreglass them? i would say have u got a guide but even i can do that lol
