Will these Repeaters fit my MK4 Polo (97) or is the backing/blub connection different??

on the auction it says 99-01 but I'm not sure what changes if any were made between the mk4s pre-99 to those after

Yeah that's why I'm asking to see if there is a difference or even if I could alter them in some way to make them fit... hmmmmmm?

The bulb holders are different for 6N2s, so if you've got a 6N, then these will not fit unless you manage to get the different bulb holders off a scrap mk5 and do a bit of wiring. The bulb holders on the 6N (96-99) were twist on, and the bulb holders for the 6N2 (99-01) are push on.

Although if you're looking for mk5 polo bulb holders, the bulb holders are the same for the mk4 golf, and the new beetle of the same era too, if that helps.

Thats what I'll do, I'll just get the different bulb holders and re-wire it! Sorted!
