hey my boot lock on my 2000 gti has stuck closed, was wondering how u get the boot plastic off so i can get access to the locking mechanism?

Hiya firsty theres 2 screws, 1 at the bottom of each handle thing.

Once these have been removed the top of the plastic trim (window edge) should clip off towards the boot space, and then pull the trim upwards towards window to un hook from bottom hooks. :-)
