My latest purchase ...

Featured Replies

Just got some TT seats off eBay over the weekend 8-) . I've only got pics from the listing at the moment (which aren't very good ones) but they seem mint and have only covered 5,000 miles! I'll post some pics when I have them.

I'm not sure whether to collect them myself or get a courier. Do you think they'd be ok with a courier rapped in just some bubble rap?

Also, I've got some ideas in which direction I want to go with the interior and any opinions on which of the following 3 things would look best are welcome:

1. Get the rears re-trimmed in black to match the TT fronts

2. Full re-trim in black with red stitching

3. Full re-trim in black with red stitching with GTI also stitched into the seats (bit too much maybe?)

oooh nice, i'd collect them in person as leather marks quite easily and if they're mint you wouldn't want that!

i'd just get the rears re-trimmed tbh. the TT leathers are comfy enough as is.

no point in getttin the whole lot done again if the leather up front is in good nick.

as for the Gti logo i think its a bit lame personally, but thats just me.

Yeah, I agree with you Ross about the GTI logo, but it was just an idea I had.

Really don't know what to do though re-trim wise, black with red stitching would look sooo good. I need to find a decent place to do it first though.

Got back about 45mins ago after picking them up and they're absolutely mint to be honest :-D

The front seats weigh a bloody tonne, it was struggle to get them out of the car

Quick pic which doesn't do them any justice really, but anyway ..

how easy are these to fit?

I'm not really sure, but I have been told if you have the original runners (which I have) you just need new subframes and then it's quite straight forward.

 they do weight a tonne compared to the standard seats!...thats Audi build quality along with airbags and heating for you!

they do look mint!

I really wanted to use mine in something cause they only had done 500 miles but ended up selling them to Testicles.

They are heavy bastards like, but had fun playing PS2 on them
