I've had this problem before, not sure what solved it, it could be the indicator stalk i think, or a bulb, anyone know before i swap both?

I'd be more inclined to say the stalk/controls, out of the two that you suggest. There must be small odds of both main beam filaments failing within a short time of each other?

try pushing then pulling, if that works then its just loose.

well i looked and it has a tiny little white Y shaped movement piece, it had slipped off, i popped it back in and it seems to work again, for how long not sure, but hey
