I need to change my engine and gearbox oil and was wondering what everyone could recommend???

I would like to use fully sinthetic if pos for the engine??????

Semi-synthetic or fully synthetic 10w-40 are fine for the engine

GL4 80w90 oil i think is alright for the gearbox too

Yeah 10W40 semi synthetic is the one to go for for engine oil.

For the gearbox, VW sell it in 1L bottles for about £4 a bottle. It's the stuff they filled the box with at the factory so you know it'll be right. 80w90 is alot thicker than the stuff vw use, even though it's the right specification. Not sure about 75w90.
