These are VW Avus rims often referred to as Scala, commonly found of scirocco's and also golf cab's.

6Jx14 ET38.

Wouldn't mind a set of these myself, seen a set a guy had on polo on here sprayed black with a metallic flake, looked ace.

thanks for that, gonna try and get someone to do a photoshop of these on my car, see what they look like, think they'll be alright on a 70mm lowered car? dependent on tyres really..

I've got a set of these in pretty good nick, some light scratches on them and a bit of kurbing of the very edge of the rims, dunno what to do with them though as i have 3 sets of alloys doing nothing at the mo as it is! what kinda money they worth as i might be interested in selling them

cool, have they been sprayed or anything?

thanks, depending on money i might be interested, going to bug jam?

they are in original condition, never been touched, so still have the cut and laquered finish to them.

not planning on going to any shows, not really my thing anymore. where you based?

that sucks, ah well. dont even no if they look good on my car yet.

thanks

I had these on my mk2 coupe, they're 14X6 or 5.5 iirc...I had it lowered 40mm on a full kit and normal tyres and it scrubbed loads, you will need some low pro's for them not to scrub.

my old coupe.

i was hoping to lower mine 70, with those wheels on, and obviously some semi low profile tyres

165x55x14 - ideal.

175x50x14 - also good.

think that'll do the trick then? all i need to do is find a decent cheap pair now.
