Hi, my passenger seat in my mk3 polo was reclined all the way back using the knob and now wont go back up at all. The knob just turns without the feeling of bite there would normally be to bring the seat back to the upright.

If anyone could give me some advice on how to fix this I would be very greatful.

i have similar on my mk3 GT my handle adjuster is cracked so i get a philips sccrewdriver as if your undoing the adjuster handle and turn to whilst lifting gently the back rest of the seat. try that for a temp measure.

Then you may have to replace the item when its practical to do so.
