For a mk3? The bulbs are plain white, there's a green strip running along the top of the dial unit which you have to change to change the colour. Get at it by removing the white plastic that the bulbs screw into, it pops out, then the green strip can be changed easily! I believe you have to take the unit apart and take the LCD display apart to get the filter for that to change it, I had it apart a while ago and there's various layers that just fall out, can't remember but I guess there was a green filter layer for the light there too.

thnks...lol lcd display..this is a 92 model. I'm lucky to have bulbs lol. but yeah i know exactly what you mean. had the whole interior out and transplanted in my motor as some yobs thought it would be fun to try and nick it..got bored and just smashed it up inside! but yapping asid thanks i know wht your on about..il jst rubb the colour of tht stip and put acetate there .

Ah right, you have the analogue clock? I assumed you had the rev counter with digital clock in which case that would also be lighting up green, but with the analogue clock then yeah you'll just need to change the one across the top.

Scum smashing it up... :disgust:

cool thnks. all yapping aside though i did quite enjoy puttin the car back together, once in knew i had all the identical trim. makes it more like your own ! just fancy keeping it totally standard but with the odd change to make it individual.
