Was changing the filter on my 1.6 6N today and relised the throttle body is tiny so was wondering is there any others that may fit my polo that are largerfrom another Polo or perhaps a golf ??? Or does anyone know of any place that sell uprated/Larger ones for 6N polo's ??

Unlikely I'd have thought. You could maybe port it slightly.

yeah ewan has a pollished one on his 16v i think but i dont think theres anything that you can buy to just bolt on

the walls are too thin to port it, which is a shame! dont think there are any similar ones in the vw range. if you could get a spare and your handy with a welder (cos its aluminium) you weld a larger housing in. would be a lot of work for little gain though

Yeah I thought they might be a bit narrow, hence why I said maybe. And no, I don't think there are any other similar ones either.

How small is the TB on the 1.6? My 1.0 is on a 33mm (I think that's the size of the 1.4 TB) TB at the moment and although pretty small, it's quite hefty for a 1.0. I want to try a 1.8 TB next, this is unlikely to fit your car though. Can anyone confirm?
