if you got coilovers you can set them so the arch clears the wheel like mine. i know its a corrado but you get the idea aand the arches are a similar kind of thing. mine are 8's with 15mm spacers. no arch work at all. if you aint got coilovers and the arch sits lower than ^^ then youl need arch work i recon.

cheerz dude..

get what you mean.. just wondering what other 6n owners had done.

I'm running 8 on the fron and 8.5 on the rear and haven't had any rear archwork done and mine are ok

it depends on the Offset of the wheels. I have 8inch at the back with an et of 1 and they stick out about an inch and a half, my mate has 8's with an et of 20 or 30 something and they just tuck under the arches.

do u know what the et is ?

i'm 7.5 at the front and 8 at the back......my car is pretty dam low at the front like, and the arch sits on the tyre pretty much! The rears are ok until i put one or 2 people in the back, then you'll be cringin.

I wouldnt be surprised if i was 80+ at the front and about 60 at the back. I;m going to get them all rolled for the time-being i think, just dont think i can warrent the like 500 cuid to get the arches pulled, but i'll see.

i just bought new rims my self..I'm sure their 8 on the back and 7.5 on fornt! their bs rs and they stick out a good bit, not sure what to do my self like. Is it illegal to have the rims out side the arches or what??

Aslong as the tread of the tyre stays under the arch

if you run 8's on the rear i would recommend either falken 195 45, or nankang 185 45 but these I'm not sure about. the rm's have a low offset and the 6n bumpers dont like these due to the way the bumper meets the arch unlike on the 6n2.

offset 33 i think on the standard 0.5 dish... gotta set of 1.5 rad steels to make me 6.5 fronts 7.5 rears.

while wheels are all off was thinking of getting another set n making 7.5 fronts n either 7.5 or 8 rears.

fronts already rolled n think that willb enough 4 the 7.5 fronts....

rears standard so need t know 7.5 or 8. will a rear roll do? ;)

honestly i think you will only want them wider......i had 7.5 and 8 and it wasnt wide enough at all!!

but for me dubs are all about sticking as wide as possible wheels on!

not sure tbh.. seem some wide rims just think they dont look right some how.

there isa green mk4 that goes to the bluewater meet (one wiv the body coloured euro plates)

haven't been able to talk 2 the owner yet n find out what size dishes they are.

like the idea of wider on the rears tho.

i dont think they're quite as wide as mine on the rear, they looked like 8" allround....not sure.

very very nice mk4 polo that is though!

Mate this is my 6n2 on 7.5 front and 8" rear and I'm perfectly happy with it, this is before the front came down a bit more

I know, was thinking of a swap deal with him, but it'll end up costin me a fortune to get my wheels couriered there, his wheels couriered here and tyres off my wheels and tyres onto the new wheels.....i am thinking of something a bit different though....gettin bored of the RM's lol
