I've got 2 6x9's, a sub and 2 tweaters in my boot and it all works and sounds bloody fantastic except one thing, even if the radio is off the speakers have a high pitched whining sound, the pitch increases when i accelerate too, does this mean i need to install a big ass capacitor to distribute all the power correctly and smoothly?

in a word no! basically you have either got a bad earth, using badly shielded rca cables or you have run the rca cables down the same side as the power, which is a big no no. cheapo amps can also cause the high pitch buzz you speak off. you can buy supressors that stop the buzz but the are a bodge as opposed to a fix to the prob
