Just put it on with a rattle can. Its piss easy to do.

Do you not need to sand it down or anything??

Planning on getting a Caddy to rat!!!

sanding it down would make it smooth and shiny again. either rattle can satin/matt or if you want to do it 'properly' with a spray gun and compressor, add matting agent to the paint before you spray

To be honest, you have to be pretty special to not be able to lay down matte paint. I had NO painting experience what so ever and managed to get a half decent finish on my bonnet.

Just key the area you want to paint and then lay down the paint. Just do it in thin coats instead of just lashing it all on once.

the easiest way is to spray it with rattle cans but if u want a really matt finish then use paint and a roller to get it on really thick

yeah its for the tramp wagon

gonna put some life back into it

we did my mates mk2 in matt black, bought a few rattle cans and some sand paper, rubbed down the whole car and sprayed away and it had a really good finish! its not hard just take your time and like kam said put on thin coats but loads of them.

You wont get much flatter than using a matt black rattle can. It looks stone cold.

I haven't used them, but these have been recommended to me

or get a paint shop to mix up BMW urban green (code A04 UNI) and have matting agent added

I've never seen it in this country but it was a colour option on Z4s in the states, so I'd assume it was here too, just nobody had the sense or taste to get anything other than 'boringasfucksilver'.

Fascinating Finishes (eBay shop)

Not actually ordered from them, but have emailed and they seem very helpful, good range too. Heard good reports on another forum I use about them.
