they are all the same, the only exceptions to this are the Gt and G40 ones which have an anti roll bar.

Thats all I wanted to know!! Cheers.. Basically I have a 1.0 coupe and am looking at a GT bredvan for a full conversion so wanted to know if the axel will fit!

Yep and it will as said above have an added ARB.

The only thing to watch is the GT/G40 rear axles have larger wheel cylinders as those two models came with a rear brake compensator valve. It might be as well to renew the wheel cylinders on the GT rear axle with those from a lower spec model.

Karl.

I would do this if you have the cash is rebuild it. It dont cost to much check my blog out

How hard is it to set up the compensator valve onto a lesser model? I read about them having special spring rates that need to be set up by a specialist? Surely that's bollocks?

i have a spare one and there isnt anything to adjust so dont know how that would be done.

theres a bit of metal that goes from it to the rear axle to tell u how much load is on etc. You can change it by unblting it and sliding it back abit. I've never bothered tho and been fine, if u were doing a rear disc conversion tho i would change it and you are mor likely to lock up.
