hey guys, i need some help lol my ABS light came on today, and i went to the garage and they checked all my brakes and said there fine :S but they needed the computer thing to plus it into but it wasn't available now. just wonderd what the light means and has this happend to anyone else?

They need to read the code...Could be a number of things to do with your Brakes, like a ABS sensor.

oh right, someone was sayin aswel, that it could just be dirt or summin in the senser, i need to pressure wash the wheels later i think, see if thats it, cose the my mate in the garage said all brakes are fine :S bloody sensers, pain in the ass lol

ABS light was on on my Mk3 Golf VR6, and it was due to a faulty wire going to the sensor. Bit of soldering later and it was ok!

Yours is prob a dirty sensor though, the code will tell you whats up.

nice one, i did powerwash the wheels but the light is still on, either i didn;t wash the around the brakes enough or it is a dodge sensor. thanks anyway dudes
