What Weber? DMTR?

You should be fine with the mech pump unless you want to run an aftermarket cam or later cam.

yeah its a dmtr

just thought it might run better

I wonder what setup Danny Lee has...

I run an electric pump on a 3F block and head cos it doesn't have a mechanical.

Someone once told me that it relieves strain on the engine using an electrical one but idk if that's true or not...

If you run a 3F cam (GT) u will need one. Get a facet solid state if you can.

if i use an electric pump

how do i connect it up, will it need a ecu or just relays ?

I'm running it from an ignition switched wire on the fusebox, fuse 10 I think. Test it with a multimeter to be sure. No ECU is needed.

You could run it on a relay to be safe, but it should be ok spliced in.

Will you not need a fuel pressure regulator and a swirl pot if it doesn't already have one?

Depends what pump you use. I use a swirl pot but no pressure regulator as the pump slows down and cuts out when it meets resistance to flow...
