Clutch Pedal has came Off!!

Featured Replies

The actual pedal has came off.

I can find anything in the driver's floor tht it looks like its sheared off. :retard:

But ti looks like the brake pedal and clutch pedal are on the same shaft and its moved to the right.

Is it easily pushed back into place, it doesnt want to move.

thanks

Sounds like the pedal box has cracked which is a common problem on Mk4s. That's all I can tell you, hopefully someone with experience can come on and tell you the best remedial action.

Sounds a bit wierd, the pedals moving to the right, pedal box may have cracked, you may have to take it down the Stealers. Hope someone can shed a bit more light on the situation.

yep its a common fault. If i remember its just a plastic clip that snaps. Vw do the replacement part seperate. Or for a permenant fix you could get the pedal welded in place.
