Again it depends on closer look of the wheels, seems as its just a bit of lacquer peel and kerbing, Should cost you around 50 Per wheel

If you were doing something like painted centers and polished lips it would be easy enough to do by yourself.

yea its not too hard. just takes a bit of time. :-)

i just want to get em in good nick really

was thinking about black centre and polished lip

DIY them, go back on ebay and look for polishing attatchments for a drill. It'll take ages... but it'll be worth it and you'll have a cheap set of BBS looking perfect! as for the black centres, loads of guides on the net on how to do that properly!

cant get polished lip when curbed? :p bondo and paint is your friend :)

What is bondo?

If you have a little curbing, is it a bad idea to use emery cloth to smooth the rim?

I paid £50 for my five alloys! I don't plan to weigh out £200 to refurb them!! I'm gonna diy them!

They're a bit spokey like the ones above - fiddly! :smoke:

bondo = Body Filler

well you can do that, but the curbing whould still show?, i would fill the curbing with bondo, and do paint on the whole rim :)

Ah! Danke schone.

I was thinking of going back to metal and using only laquer. (Or going back to bed and using only liquor)

OR

Has anybody used chrome paint that looks remotely like chrome?

hehe, i suggest both methods, but partying on a Tuesday? :D

I have never seen a chrome paint any good, you want to get some original wheel paint..

chech this out :)
