I've got a load of cleaning stuff for my car but I don't know what order to do everything in

I've got:

Shampoo (I'm pretty sure this goes first)

Clay Bar

Wax Stuff (that came with the clay bar)

Paint Rennovator

Resin Polish

T-Cut

Whats the best order to do everything to get my car looking sexual :p

Erm well the T-Cut works best in the bin, to be honest.

Wash it, clay bar it, use paint renovator, and then SRP after that. Maybe finish it off with waxing, but leave T-cut well alone if you want nice looking paintwork.

This is what I did to mine yesterday, need a clay bar tbh. It followed as, Polish on, polish off, paint renovate bonnet (wasn't happy with the result of the first polish), polish on, polish off. Polish sealer (takes an hour to set) polish wheels, detail walls. black the plastics. hoover and dust inside of car, polish off sealer, layer of wax on, take wax off with damp cloth then buff section straight after. then polish windows.

How's that? me arms hurt today though

Ask on Edition38.com James. Theres about 20 people on there who have dedicated there whole life to keeping paint in mint condition and they really really know there shit!

I used T-cut just recently to de-pink my paintwork - I must say it seems to have done alright.

It is rather harsh, its okay for one use but long term it damages the paintwork... I don't knwo the ins and outs, sorry mate, but i do know that every paintwork professional i've spoken to has developed a twitch at the mention of the T-Cut...

Yes it does the job, but not in a way which will benefit the paintwork.

EDIT: its like eating at McDonalds, or cooking a meal from some fresh meat and veg etc... Both will do the job of filling your stomach, but only one is actually any good for you.

Claay-bar! Claay-bar! Claybar!

If the car is badly oxidised,Tcut is the best option to save it. But its not for regular use - you shouldnt be letting the paint get that faded in the first place. Even still,better to use Metallic Tcut. Its not quite as violent.

One thing Tcut is good for though,which is a bit pikey,is polishing up flatted rattle-can paint. Get several layers of orange peel on,wet-flat it with the ultra fine paper,then Tcut the hell out of it - jobs a good'un.
