I'm fairly sure the SPI's all take the same ones.

cheers, i'll take a look as soon as my driveway drains!

My drive's lovely and dry - it's all in the car :( I parked my Mk2 under a leaky gutter last night, the scuttle filled right up and overflowed down the heater, now it's got a floating carpet :(

apparently the 1.3s use colder plugs (W7DTC) than the 1.05 (W8DTC) It depends where you get them from as to what you get given Both engines will run fine on W7DTC but I wouldn't put W8s in a 1.3. So check what plugs they are.

All Spi engines (AAU and AAV) take the same spark plugs:

  • 101 000 005AE (Bosch W8DTC)
  • 101 000 001AE (Beru 14-8 DTU)
  • 101 000 007AB (Champion N7 BYC) - Not the best
So yes, if it's any of the above, they'll fit 1.05 and 1.3 Spi's.

For future reference;

GT's (3F):

  • 101 000 005AA (Bosch W6 DTC)
  • 101 000 001AB (14-6DTU)
G40's (PY) will only take 101 000 006AG (Bosch W5 DPO)
