it has been done before, but requires a fair bit of work as it blend into the wings and the mk4 doesnt

but with 'a fair bit of work', does anyone has any idea what has to be done? Is the width of the mk4 and mk5 exactly the same and bolts fit in the same place? What exact mod is neccessary on the mk5 bumper to make it fit?

btw I'm talking on the rear bumper, will it look stupid?

baisically you find a decent body shop or if you've got the skills yourself you take the top half of a mk4 bumper and blend the bottom half of a mk5 bumper onto it. involves plastic welding, fibregalssing filler and paint
