I know this is probably a long shot but does anyone know the height between the sump and the ground on a standard 6N diesel or even if anyone has one could they measure it for me. also does the td engine from the mk3 golf fit into the 6N? thanks

it's a bit of a fiddle getting the TD engine to fit i'm afraid...

i got a diesel on standard ride height il go measure it later if i remember. If anyone knows already it may be easier tho

cheers lads. SkodaBoy do u know what is involved in the swap? we're pretty used to difficult engine swaps (porsche 911 onto a 1.2 beetle gearbox in a trike and numerous others) so might not be to hard. are they the same bottom end so i could just swap the heads?

any luck with the sump height lad?
