can this be done, isit easy as grill surround comes onit, straight flush fit?

It's not as easy as swapping bumpers, mounts have to be changed. Look at carrera 6n for how it should look like

Heres mine, top half of 6n bumper mated to bottom half of 6n2.

Not easy but worth the effort

I think the flip looks very good. My grandad (a sprayer by trade) once sprayed an old shed of a cavalier in some funky orange-silver flip and it actually looked amazing, just a shame that someone wasted £5000 on a paintjob on a £2k (at the time) heap of a cavvy...

Bloody hell that looks superb, ash . That's the 1st pic I've seen of your car like that, every other one it's been looking like something's missing (i.e wheels taken off and changed for winter wheels, bumper at a body shop etc) ... please don't take that the wrong way

ash's is the only car that i think can truely pull it off, not keen on any of the others that i have seen!

Cymrupolo - your right and i apreciate what you say. The car is still not ready yet but in the past two years since the engine conversion its been wearing wheels anf bumpers purely to allow me to move the car around.

Hopefully by E38 i'd be happy to show it properly.
