Hi,

i haven't ever really posted anything before, but I'm really stuck and i need someones help, i have a 1998 polo and both of the window regulators have broken on the left and right side!!!

i have managed to get my hands on the replacment parts from a braker, however when i looked at the door panels, i wasnt able to figure out how to remove them, pleeeaaasssee could somebody explain to me how to remove these, I'm really getting desperate now!!!!

Haynes Manual is the way foward lol i have no idea but I'm sure the haynes manual will show you alot of helpful things

lol thanks, but I'm actually in a little bit of a pickle, i have to do this this weekend, it is vitaly important, and i spent all my money on the replacment parts and dont have any left over to buy a Haynes manual, so if anybody can actually tell me if there are some hidden screws i need to take off, or if there are some clips or places i need to firmley pull to unpop, then this would help alot, once i get going i could probably figure the rest out on my own, however i need a starting point!!

just went out and had a look at mine for you... if its got electric mirrors then use the flatheaded screwdriver to lever and slide the plastic surround of it to the side(towards back of car) and unplug.. use a flatheaded screwdriver and lever up the plastic that covers the inside door handle pull thing... behind that is two cross headed screws.. remove them and pull the door card with a bit of force against the actual door... Good luck.

two screws under the grab handle,,remove lock pin thing,,any window/mirror buttons and get pulling not forgetting to lift it over your door pin..
