No not really there is a fairly big gap for them. 6.5" or 17cm is the right size. Check for yourself by whipping the doorcard off takes 2 mins.

I'm replacing mine soon to any tips on how to take of the door cards?

You don't need to take the doorcard off, just whip the speaker grilles off and the speakers themselves come out using a Phillips screwdriver..

i bought some infitiy ones other day and there 16.5cm they fit straight in mate
