Just wondering.. anyone know if mk2 golf mirrors fit mk3 (2f) polos? My guess is the base plates are annoyingly close but different .

Ooh, you going for electric ones? That's the only reason I thought of it... but they're quite expensive it seems, about the £100 mark on eBay with switch. I just want them heated really, cos I'm sad!

So what have you/will you have to modify to make them fit?

I don't think you can get electric/heated early spec ones. If you can I've never seen them before!

I've bought a Mk2 mirror to modify but it is a little more difficult than i first expected none of the locators match because the mK2 baseplates are much larger but never say never!

I think with a bit of time you could make them fit, i just need to find the time!!

Hmm thanks for the info, time is something I have very little of at the moment and especially if you can't get early spec heated ones then I won't bother, especially not at £100 a pop.
