I have some damage to my offside rear wheel arch. I've had at it with some rust eater, a wire brush, wet & dry and some elbow grease and you can see the damage here:

Anyone got some ideas how to repair this, as the dent is quite severe and the metal is creased, otherwise what would be the cost of getting this something like straight at a bodyshop?

I'm in the Manchester area, so if anyone know of somewhere cheap and trustworthy, that'd be good!

Looks pretty bad, I suppose the max that they would charge around the 300-400 mark. Does the door still close properly?

Yeah, the door closes fine (the door is also creased, but i'm hoping to find a replacement at a scrappy). It's just the arch i'm not sure about fixing.

Could I just use filler, or is it just too deep and i'll end up with it cracking?

£300-400 is way too much, that car would only be worth £800 if it wasn't a mess, if I could get it done for a ton i'd probably go for it.

your well better off hittin the scrappy mate.....and i'm pretty dure you'll find in that colour! You'll be able to get a decent door and wing for like 50 quid Search ebay and local breakers, they might have in your colour

If this was the front wing i'd agree with you, hence what i'm doing with the door. But the rear quarter would be a welding job so i'd need some help with that.

Depends how good you want it to look. Rust eater first. Filler followed by stopper with lots of rubbing down of course before painting is probably the way to go.
