i run mine on ET35 16x7 speedlines and it is about 10mm lower than that grey one with bbs RX's. my arches wernet rolled and if you intend driving very hard i would either raise it, put skinnier wheels on. or have your arches extensivly pulled. as mine use to catch alot and pull the lip down on the arch to i had them rolled. and when coming flat out into a bumpy corners under braking my wheel hit the arch and rippled it. then i handbraked a hairpin going up a hill at about 50 as i hit th uphill part on full lock it hit my arhc and fully bent it up and in so now i need a new arch. but ig you dont drevy extremly hard i would not worry.

Personally I think they look too big for the car and prefer 15s, can go nice and low on them, I run on 195/45s, just my opinion.

Mike1- driving hard is one thing but if you are seriously doing handbrakes into hairpins at 50mph then you are lucky to come away with just a bent arch. Tut tut :(

its not as bad as it sounds honest :-) . its the only quick way to take this particular corner, takes a bit of bottle to do it the first few times but once you've got the hang of drifting it in on the power its so much faster. youd know what i mean of you saw the corner. plus here in jersey its a bit different roads are less busy and we drive late at night when there are like no cars on the road.

your car is so nice tej. its what inspired me to buy my car, what colour blue is that looks similar to mine. think mine is called indigo blue or somethin. also are your front arches rolled?

front arches have jus received some DIY work

i tried diying mine using a pannel beating hammer and a doly i borrowed from a mate who works in a body shop. it worked ok but i found it rippled my arches slightly, then i managed to bend the hole arch up so on my new wings i just had em done properly, and they still rub on full lock when u hit a bump.

what a car i wish i could put a pic of mine up but it aint a touch on this one tej mines in dark green lowered 40 mm ish with 15s on and gas shocks it handles well but i would love 16s with rolled arches any day and coilies would be a brucie bonus on top of the handling a nice g60 or 1.8 20 v turbo conversion would go down nice just to fook all those up who thought the polo was just pimped !! dont you just love polos :-D

Not as low as Tej's but here is mine, lowered about 70mm, arches have been rolled but the tires still catch every now and again. Wheels are ET 25 with 195/40 tires.

Before the arches were rolled, the wheel & tire are still around 1cm outside the arch so they also need pulling as well
