If you went with those red and black wheels (i cant remember the name now) you could change the red for the yellow you have on the car? i think that would look pretty cool

John

Thanks for your input mate, thats exactly my plan! :p

If i were you i would have done all the body work then sprayed the whole car in one go. IMO would get a much better finish

I wanted to do it myself just to get some self experience and prove some people wrong :p . I strongly believe the finish will be just as good :) If not, it won't be far off ;)

Cheers, car won't be on the road yet. See you at some local meets or something :)

I went to the Silver S to find it all stripped, the only things I got off that are the rear bumper and inlet manifold!

Bloody hell mate how did you learn to do all that at the age of 16 haha, love it .

Loads of respect for doing all that on your first car haha I get bored after washing mine for about an hour!

Lol!!

Thats a pretty good question because I actually can't remember how I learnt this or what got me in to it!!

Cheers guys, theres been about 5 people asking me for a respray now but I can't do it because I'm starting college at the end of the month! Sorry!!

The bodywork will be done this week all being well, but no front bumper because the one I've chosen is £300 so I need to save up!! :p

wow preety sweet finish so far mate. where are you getting money from? and like the bay... alot of resprayed cars look crap as the bays a differant colour but i love yours NICE

Cheers fella :)

I worked/saved for some of the stuff by spraying wheels etc, but my dad paid for most of the bits! I still owe the Paintshop £77!! I'm paying him slowly.

Anybody know who can change my username?!

Edited by Rahim_Ice_Cream

contact a mod and ask them to point you in the direction of the most important person to talk to, I've seen it done on another forum so it might be possible (not sure if there running the same setup as cp though lol)

and what do you owe the paint shop for paint? lol

Well if you sprayed peoples cars then you`d have more than enough for it :-p

 but I'd lose out education wise so I'm gonna stick to a No! Sorry!! I'll do panels/wheels though (Please no metallics!!)

I owe the paint shop for.. everything!! Paint, thinners, hardner, tack cloths, degreaser.. the list goes on! The total was about £150 so I'm getting there!!
