@Ptom who you talking about? I don't think I need to give credit to anybody, thanks to my dad for giving money when I need it but theres not really anybody else who has helped me with my car! (Apart from my cousin who has been coming down for the last week helping me with bits and bobs :) )

you should give yourself a pat on the back for doin the work yourself... its all easy to get a loan or watever an get some one else to build it but weres the fun in that??? you learn by mistakes so what if its got orange peel.. if this lads doin this at 16 what is he gona be doin at 25 / 30... haters are evrywere now not jus the dub scene it jus meens theve got more bottle hiding behind a screen...

Lol, cheers man. Yeah this was my first paint job, I suppose I'll improve in the future. But still though, you can flat and polish Orange people so I'm not fussing!! I'm gonna get that done when the weather sorts itself out!

Got the drivers door card fitted today and also the passengers window motor and glass in. Need to drill a hole in the door to pass the wires through now, and wire the central locking up somehow.

Ill be honest, i think the outside is going to turn out lovely, inside I'm no fan but, i haven't even got back seats or carpet so i cant really complain about your door cards! lol

Got a new throttle body fitted today and wow the car idles correctly again! Feels so much better and the exhaust no longer does my head in when the cars just started, got the stock airbox fitted too while I was at it. Also got a Windscreen and fitted it with help of a couple of mates!!

Also heres me busting out my MS Paint skills!!!

The rims are only temporary, and I'll be keeping them as winter rims in the future. I was thinking of giving them a lick of paint in maybe Gunmetal Grey but I like how they look in Silver so I think they'll stay. Hope you like :)

Also got a new battery today and some wing repeaters (Ambers for now)

Hey man, loved this project, my Polo is the same colour, seriously Give this place the fingers, it's loosing forum members left right and center because of the attitude developing on this place. just leave the project here and give us the address off your local forum so us who really appreciate this thread can watch it closely.

keep up the good work but........ don't go OTT on teh interior it is possible to code too much, and good luck with the wheel choice, rather you than me.

love the thread and the project i was after a sr for my first car but they were like rocking horse shit at the time.

my one critisism is the paint, I'm only commenting cos my dad has done it for 20 years and its been drummed into me but by all means its an amazing first go!

@Demon thanks man, the bad comments won't put me off the site personally but yes it is gaining a pretty bad name for the site. I don't think I'll be doing any more colour coding apart from the speedo surround once I can get the fcuker off!

Still putting little bits on the car, I'll update tomorrow with more photos :)

Try asking on the forum - there are some people around here with decent p-shop skills.

And ignore the nobs around here - the car wouldn't be my choice, but I have to admire the work you've put in.
