about to purchase a car alarm for my polo and was wondering which one i should go for. the viper 791xv or the clifford 650

Both near enough the same, both made by Directed. Id go for the Clifford 650 over the Viper791xv, Heard about the Viper 791xv not being to good when your inside.

Roony K's got the Viper I think.

I've got the Clifford 650 with Intellistart in my G40.......

It's a brilliant bit of kit mate.Can't recommend it highly enough.

As in when the car is parked, you're inside your house say..then it has problems. I've only heard about this off mates etc...Not first hand experience. I think RoonyK has one.

clifford have a big name so they charge higher prices and also sell more as there more well known
