Anyone know where I could handily grab a bit of 1" pipe to extend my top rad hose by about 2"?

After tilting the rad and moving slightly left it is just a bit short!

most motorfactors have heater hose available by the metre

an exhaust place! I did the same thing to my hose recently. An exhaust place in rochdale gave me a piece of 1 1/4" stainless pipe for nowt.

I have some of that size but only fits the flared ends... the middle of the top hose appears to be smaller - at 1" i/d?

I havn't cut and measured it yet though...just offered the 1 1/4" piece up to the ends and the std hose appeared smaller in the middle...

As above, sleevign a bit of metal pipe in is the easiest way by far (pretty much how the whole cooling system on my kit car is made ).

Will try that first then - have found a silicone hose joiner supplier with 1" items if needed - but will try my chrome 1 1/4" first..... :-D
