came on today?

anybody got some ideas on how to solve it on a mk4 16v?

I've left my battery off for the nite just hoping it was just an ecu fault or something.

if not how would people surgest checking sensors etc and where they are???

i took my fuel rail off earlier in the day i cant really see this causeing problems? but is there a sensor in this area?

Its not common but it may have come on coz of the battery being disconnected, an insufficient voltage fault may be logged, or it may be something unrelated ie;slip ring etc.Get the fault codes read and erased, and see how it goes.

damn college can do that but i wont b in for a good few weeks lol.

wots the average cost of fault codes being read??? I'm a poor student

go to your nearest main dealer and say your planning to book your car in for the airbag warning light on and that you want to see what the fault code is first before you do so you can get a rough quote!! it only takes 2mins, i do it all the time for people who come in off the street.
