As you can see from my pic ( <--------- that'a way), she's been lowered 80mm and she needs a gearbox oil change. I'm going to get a high quality oil and was wondering if there is anything I should look out for (never done it before). Can anyone recommend a quality oil I can use, also is an additive like Slick 50 worthwhile, she's done 104000 miles.

i used genuine vag oil, bought 3 x 1litre bottles of the stuff and it nearly took the lot!

Was that a maindealer job? Thinking of using GSF unless I am told different.

its something like G50 IIRC for the 8v... get the dealer stuff... it doesnt need doing often so pay a little more and get the good stuff
