This is my first time joining this forum, my question is I have a Polo mk4 (6n) 1999 model and need to know what offset and tire size will fit as i plan to install 16" rims which combination will require the least amount of arch rolling

if u get 7" wide with 195/40 tyres then et30 will be fine even with a good drop (60mm or a bit more) without touchin arches

16vtej, with those 16s on a 90mm drop did you have to do any arch rolling, bcos i want to fit 16s on a 80mm drop, also do u get any rubbing?, thanks

jus some DIY hammering and grinding... so it rarely rubs now

Or you could go with ET35 and avoid any contact! (the set of RH Cups I sold to fishtoastie were 7.5x16 et 35 with 195/40/16's and he had no scrubbing! )

what brand of tires do you have as I'm having a hard time finding 195/40/16, all I seem to find is 195/45/16 if I use these how much work would be needed

hmmm my mk4 on et35 (195/45/15) rub a little on stupid big bumps. if I went et37 would that then clear the arch?
