theft of what?

ice or just general possesions?

locking the car always helps :p

remove the head unit facia when leaving your car

hide away little things its the little things that matter lol

6x9's attract thieves

what else is there?

theft of the actual car.

Immobiliser?

I've got a big steering lock, one that covers the whole steering wheel, its thatcham approved and my car is parked over night on a main road half the week and doesnt have an alarm and its never been nicked, touch wood.

the other night i left my car unlocked over night, in my driveway which is on a main road :retard: when i went to the car in the morning for work i shat my self...

i was in the car park at work the other day a woman parks her 6n polo and gets out and jusut walks in... i was like :o she didnt lock it had a look through the window se had a decent head unit in there and random stuff on the dash board... saw her when i walked in an told her "you left your car unlocked" she replied "oh thanks, it doesnt matter theres nothing valueble inside"... lmfao

yeh

imobliser FTW

i was going to get an immobiliser with the alarm. does delocked handles also help prevent thieves gaining access through the key lock.

supposed it would do, but that could temp them to smash the windows lol but then if u got an imoboliser they wont get very far at all that is after they break in damage your car and then find out there fucked

I leave my car unlocked in my drice with the key in the sunvisor. cos its oldskoooool!.

Just dont do that

My golf had a full thatchman approved alarm/imobiliser, i never left my HU in the car, and even left the gloce box open and empty on occasions. Delocked handles and a massive steering lock too.

I don't have a steering lock in the polo atm, but it's in the garage if i go somehwere i don't like to park up at but have too.

park it in a rural scottish village, nobody will steal it then

snap of boss kit

Everyone ignores car alarms, immobilisers are bypassable. Get a disklock.
