Just about to buy a mk4 96 polo. just wanted to know what is the best way to remove the rear badges. read somewhere about using dental floss is it really that east?

yer thats right but if you use the search function there are loads of other techniques if you dont feel so comfy doing it that way

and theres a petrol way where you put petrol on a rag and rub ligthly till all the excess glue comes off.. and them wash it asap so the paint doesent get damaged

or lemon juice and leave it for a minute or so and rub vigerously and again wask off asap..

and theres many more

i removed mine using hot water and a credit card so you done scratch the paint, after the badges are off they maybe a few light scratches just use t-cut and it will be nice smooth and shiny i did it in 2 day i took the badges of in the night woke up and took of the glue, i find its easier to get rid of the glue when its dry, i just rubbed it off

no its just usually common knowledge thats all
