Hi everyone just bought a polo gti and want it as a nurburg track toy so going to take it over on the trailer and have a few days playing

but just wanting to know how much power you can get for which mods excluding turbo conversions

it wouldn't add power but i'd get some decent monotube coilovers like the bilstein B14s or B16s. Just so happens these are tested on the nurburg norschleiffe. combine this with sticky tires, a cage and being stripped out you'd go round corners like your on rails...

for the induction on my track car i'm going for a setup with 4 TB's. for the exhaust I'm going for a full supersprint race system as soon as i can get a group buy off the ground to get them back into production :-). I'd then get some race cams and give it a remap. should hopefully get over 200bhp

I read about someone getting that from a 1.6 gti without a turbo. i dont think he had had the engine bored out or ported. I may go that way with my project, first i gotta get a shell tho as i need my current one as a daily

really, what gearbox..? i have 140 bhp from bmc, manifold, zorst and custom map and I'm on my 3rd gearbox!

I doubt the gear box is made by quaife. Think you mean it had a quaife LSD in the gear box
