I'm pretty sure Andy & Yoof ran 175/50's on a 13x5.5 wheel.

I always thought G40 BBS were 5.5" wide?

standard G40 BBS' are 5.5 wide.

175/50 on a 13x5.5 would be a very good choice, handling wise. Your speedo will be a fair bit out, but there we go.

hey heres a pic of my wheel its 5.5 with 175/50 yoko on it. it look pretty cool but it does screw up your speedo and fuel consuption if you do a lot of motorway driving.

to be doin 70 with these wheels on your speedo has to be sat at 80 which means your engine is working that bit harder even round town to be doing thirty your speedo has to read 40 ish so you use more fuel just driving round locally too but its worth it. they lok so cool.

hope this helps

Lovin that!

I've never liked those MK2 Golf steels, but they look so right with those tyres, really suits them.

I think the wood needs GT arches, but its all good.

I alwyas though those steelies were 14s?

Mine on 175/50/13s used to read 90 on the clock when I was doing 70 in real world.

cheers mikey yeah i used to hat those wheels too i just chucked them on for a wider wheel and more grip but they ended up looking pretty good. heartagram you might be right i checked it with my mates gps speedo yp to 70 and then kinda just worked it out. zombie86c you ll just have to do it and check it with a mate in front or a gps i guess each car might be slightly different.

Well it depends on the engine and gearbox as well. As different ones have different applications so rev differently.
