Ok here's a simple question from a total moron;

In order to change the fuel tank I have to jack the rear up, remove the wheel and drop the beam.

My question is - since I have to drop the beam, what point should I use to jack up and support the rear of the car?

You could use the sill jacking points - but will need to jack the car on the axle to fit the axle stands under the sill jacking points...

Easy enough - I always use an old towel i cut in half now for any jacking or axle stand jobs - for piece of mind and protection...

When you have removed the wheels - place them under the sills too so if it falls off and you are working underneath - you wont be squashed!
