Having some difficulties - I have a 16v engine, ABS, air con and just about everything else you can think of under the bonnet of my mk4. As a result, it's tighter than a nun's chuff under there, and so finding somewhere to get a couple of wires through to the passenger compartment is a bit of a nightmare. The hole in the bulkhead behind the expansion tank is monopolised by the aircon system, there are pipes from the ABS all over the shop like demented spiderlegs. I can't seem to see (despite looking all round with a torch) where I might be able to feed some wires through the bulkhead.

Can anyone help?

^^^^^ as tempting as it is to do that (it'd help with getting me Pikeytech accreditation ) I challenge you to get a drill into the engine bay to drill the hole!! It's that damn packed in there. No, I need an existing hole in the bulkhead.

Is there a hole leading from behind the scuttle panel through to the passenger compartment? I'll give that a go.

i fed my live power feed for my amp through an exisiting gromet that had wires through it. its on the right hand side of the bulkhead probably have to take off the airfilter to get to it if thats standard!

to get my beasty amp power lead through i finally came across the washing fluid cable thing, could always try that. Its on the passengers side under all the carpeting and that....

that gromet near the coolant tank can take loads of stuff!...i must have nearly 20 extra wires going through mine, inlcuding some 4gauge wire!
