engine problems

Featured Replies

right my cars decided to start being a bitch

its been really sluggish over the past week - slow accelerating, jumping + other things

today me and my dad did a full oil + filter changes, the air filter change seemed to bring some

of it under control and then the oil change brought it back nearly all the way

we looked at the plugs and the third one over from the dizzy is had oil on it. anyone know why this

could be happening?

also when we looked at the plugs we noticed the HTleads and the plugs wherent a snug fit, apparently

there should be something on the end of the plugs (a teat according to my dad?)

I'm going to try changing the dizzy cap and rotar arm tomorrow along with the leads and plugs if that

doesnt do anything

anyone have any ideas in the meantime

cheers

anyone?!

Changing the leads and plugs could well sort your problem if you haven't done it yet. My old leads were soaked inside with oil + moisture, but my new ones fit snugly and don't let any moisture in.
