Hi i have a N reg vw polo and was wondering wether it is 9N or 6N?

6n were up to around V reg iirc, 6n2 was then from V onwards until around 2002 I believe :-)

Yeah, the 6n is the chassis code for the MK3 (akaMK4) Polo that ran from 1994-1999 (with the 6n2 being the facelift version from 1999-2002).

The 9n is the MK4 (akaMK5) that ran from 2002.

Actually, just to correct you Mikey, the 9n is considered the Mk6, with the 9n3 being Mk7, on here.
