For some daft reason I'm struggling getting my head round what to do.I'm wanting to lower my 6n.I'm pretty certain ill b getting the weitec suspension kit.so heres the first problem

1.Should I go 40mm or 60mm.I've got 15" g60 steelies on the car.There running on 195/15/50's an scrubbing a nats knacker now.So smaller tyres are in order straight away. 195/15/45's? What do we reckon.Would these fit with a 40 or 60mm lower or can you get a lower profile tyre on a 15"

2.I've got a few other little things that need doing.Wishbone bush, fuel filter, a confusing handbrake cable situation, exhaust middle silencer needs changing and sorting out because its rattling on the bottom brackets since I fitted a back box.Basically needs refitting.

Dya reckon get the suspension ordered and take it to a garage and say this is what wants doing, do it cos I'm getting sick of having these things hanging over my head.

Any suggestions. Anyone been in a similar situation.Thanx

I was in a similar situation to you as regards suspension

Didn't fancy doing it myself so took it to a garage

Formula 1(Old charlie brow building) in Chesterfield is where I took it they would possibly be able to sort out some of your other problems too,once you have bought your Kit give them a bell and tell them what you want to do,were very helpful when I went

my mk3 was lowered 60/40 and I had to plan my routes to aviod speed humps especially the ones up Wingerworth as I kept catching the underneath of my car exhaust ,etc

so maybe 40mm would be better but entirely upto you

Opposite the Portland more or less on beetwell street ,if you drive into town off of the West bars roundabout towards town take your first right turn(iirc) and its on the corner
