I have been told that it is from the inside, but have not had chance to look yet

i got the one from the breaker valver off (i have it at home) but i think my dad just snapped the surround of the cap out and got it out that way when he took the last few bits off it (the cap isnt snapped!)

from the inside sounds about right.. i had a look externally and its all enclosed!

youve got no excuses, you only have 2 seats!

Not my fault that you have a MASSIVE sub box

noo... you take the plastic lining out from the inside of the filler (where the petrol cap is)

 expect me posting in a wanted thread shortly "black filler cap needed"

R!CH or someone did this the other month and snapped his off. So be careful, i think he did it from inside the arch or somewhere.

just curious why do u need to take it off? if u want it smoothed theres no need to take it off m8. they can just mask around it.

and I'm pretty sure u remove it either from the outside or from inside the wheel arch as the tank is located in the wheel arch.

its a delicate process and it involves taking the plastic lining out around the inside first, then unclipping the bar that holds it in. not an easy job!
